Teen Talk with Nicole O’Dell

(After spending an hour trying to fix the formatting issues of this post, I give up. Please accept my apology for lack of paragraphs. HTML is not my friend right now.)

Happy Friday!! Did you have a nice Valentine’s Day? Are you thankful it’s over? I hope that whether you spent the evening with your sweetheart, your girlfriends, or had a relaxing night to yourself, that you had a great time!

And no matter how great or horrible yesterday was…all the V-day candy is on sale, so…

This morning, I had the privilege of being a guest speaker onTeen Talk with Nicole O’Dell, founder of ChooseNOWMinistries. I’ll be writing a monthly column: On Friendship, and I’m excited to delve into the inner workings and minds of us girls as we deal with best friends, frenemies, mean girls, and cliques.
Chatting with Nicole about the situations teen girls face, plus having the opportunity to talk about my book, The Cinderella Rule: A Young Woman’s Guide to Happily Ever After, was amazing! She is extremely easy to talk to, and I forgot (for a second) that I was being recorded and speaking to a lot of people!
Speaking of speaking, I’m leading two workshops next weekend at Florida Christian College’s Women’s ConferenceDating Do’s and Don’ts, and for the parents Five Things your Teen Wants – Should you Say Yes?
To hear the interview, click here. My friend and fellow author, Laura Anderson Kurk, talks about Hollywood Romance in the beginning of the show, and I’m at the end. My part starts around the last 12 minutes.
If you’d like to have me speak at your church or event, contact me here.
I’m gonna go see if there’s any chocolate left. Have a great weekend!
