Official Bio

Bethany Jett is an award-winning author whose life changed dramatically when she attended her first writers conference. She won Writer of the Year, signed with the MacGregor Literary Agency, and sold her debut book The Cinderella Rule: a Young Woman’s Guide to Happily Ever After (Revell), which became a Selah Awards finalist. She is now a collaborative writer for MacGregor Literary, working on proposals for celebrity and high-profile clients. Her latest project is as the writer for Eyes of Hope, which releases early 2017.

Bethany’s experiences as a youth minister’s wife and cheerleading coach lends humor and practical behavior and life tips to her writing and speaking.  She speaks at churches and conferences nationwide, and her work has been featured in numerous publications including Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Dating Game, ChristianityToday.com, SpiritLedWoman.com, Crosswalk.com, and SonomaChristianHome.com.

Additionally, Bethany was a devotional video blogger for ChristianMingle.com, contributor for the Rave section of The Orlando Sentinel, and worked as Web Editor for Splickety Publishing Group. This year, she became the Conference Assistant for the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. She has an upcoming story in Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse Jr. releasing this summer and is working on a series of children’s books.

An entrepreneur at heart, Bethany founded the Serious Writer Academy, the Build Your Brand Program, and created a system of planners for writers and business owners. Bethany holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Behavioral Social Science and Humanities with a Criminal Justice minor.
