How to be a Good Girlfriend: Don’t Nag

Don’t nag your boyfriend.

You are not his momma. You are not his teacher. You are not his mentor.

If you hear yourself saying “If I don’t do it, then it won’t get done.” or “If I don’t do it, he won’t.” then I hope you hear warning bells.

DANGER! Wooooop! Danger! Wooooop! DANGER! Wooooop! Danger!

I like my warning-bell sounds.

There’s a lot of pressure to write thought-provoking articles, but this one is pretty simple.

Don’t nag him. Don’t do his work for him. You’re not helping him become a man. By staying on top of him to do his homework, or go to work, or finish his chores, you’re nurturing the little boy who needs his mommy. Come on, girls. If you want to marry a MAN one day, stop making wimps out of the guys.

Pretty short and sweet and to the point. Because it is.
