Merry Christmas!…and Food!

Merry Christmas!! I love you all!!!!!

Best things to do on Christmas:

1. open presents
2. watch movies
3. secretly covet your sister’s presents
4. eat
5. take a nap
6. spend time with family
7. send mass Christmas texts to everyone in your contact list
8. eat more

Speaking of eating, we drove from 70 degree sunny Florida to 44 degree DC to spend the holiday with my husband’s brother and his family. We were able to meet up with my uncle, aunt, and cousins, as well, which made the trip super complete and awesome.

Today, we had homemade gluten-free pizza with pesto, gorgonzola and mozzarella cheeses, and sliced pears. Gourmet delish. We are so making this when we get home. Wish I had a pic, but we sucked it down.

Eat anything delicious for the holidays? Do you go traditional with turkey and the fixings like I did growing up? Or did you try something new? What’s your Christmas food tradition? Mmm…I’m hungry.
