“Backwards” Bun

I found this amazing hair style on Pinterest and had to try it for myself today.

1. Tease the top section of your hair

2. Put your hair in a high ponytail

3. Reminiscent of the topsy-tail, you flip the ends of the ponytail onto your head, make a small hole under the elastic holder, and grab the ends, pulling them through

4. Tighten the ponytail

Ta da!!!!!

Not bad, if I say so myself. At least from this angle.

My hair wasn’t as long as the girl on the pinterest pin, so some of my layers slipped out. A couple of bobby pins would have done the trick.

side pm

I should have made my ponytail higher so the cuteness of the bun could be seen.

Here’s the link to the original perfect “backwards” bun pin. Happy pinning, and happy hair days!
